Celebrates 25 Years

In 2024, United Protective Services celebrates 25 years of providing contract security services. In 1999, Founder & CEO, Eddy Allen, opened business in Dallas. With over 14 years of experience in contract and private security, Eddy started United Protective with the goal of providing the best possible contract security for his clients.

Headquartered in Dallas, United Protective is a privately held contract security provider, employing over 2,000 security professionals, a number that has doubled in the last five years. Currently, United Protective offers services in seven branch offices in Texas and Oklahoma, with hopes of expansion within the next few years.

United Protective has been recognized in the annual SECURITY LETTER (published by Security ProAdvisors) as one of the top 25 leading security companies in North America, approaching 60 million in annual revenues. Additionally, United Protective was recognized as one of the Dallas Top 100 companies headquartered in Dallas at the 33 rd Anniversary by SMU Cox Caruth Institute for Entrepreneurship.

Eddy attributes the company's growth to a collective effort of their management team and security officers to avoid an otherwise big business service model - focusing, instead, on a more customized approach: "We listen to our clients" said Allen and “tailor our services on an individual basis regardless of the client’s size.”

In 2003, brother Andy Allen, joined Eddy as his business partner and serves as Company President and Owner. “Over the last twenty plus years we have continued to grow consistently and thrive in a competitive marketplace,” stated Andy. "Our goal is simple; we want to provide the best possible security program our clients desire and deserve."

"The last 25 years have been challenging and very rewarding," expressed Eddy. "I would like to personally thank our employees, client partners and friends for putting their trust in us; without their commitment, we would not be where we are today."
